Lord God, whether I am with others or on my own, help me to be myself; to be real in worship, real in my prayers. Grant that it may be me – really and truly and fully me – coming before you in Jesus’ Name and by the power of His Spirit. Let there be no pretence, no hiding, but all that I am sincerely approaching you and all that you are, and ever thankful for the blood of Jesus which cleanses from all sin.
